Port St. Lucie is a city on the Atlantic coast of southern Florida, and in 2015 surpassed Fort Lauderdale as the 3rd most populous city in South Florida and is the 8th largest city in the state. Sports fans in Port St. Lucie can enjoy some of the best professional baseball in the state of Florida. Major League Baseball's New York Mets make the city their Spring Training headquarters. Port St. Lucie is also home to Minor League Baseball's St. Lucie Mets, a Class High-A affiliate of the New York team. Both teams play at Tradition Field.
